Accessibility
Everyone should be able to read the board, find the pit and book catering here. That's the standard we hold this site to.
What this site is built to
This site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA specifications. That's a target we design and test against, not a certificate, and when we find a gap we fix it.
What that means in practice
- Every photo has a written description, so the food and the trailer come through on a screen reader.
- Every text-and-background pair is checked for contrast, including the muted grays and the brand red.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
- Form fields have visible labels, and errors are announced, not just shown.
- Buttons and tap targets are sized for thumbs, not just cursors.
- Animation respects your system's reduced-motion setting; turn it on and the page holds still.
- Headings, landmarks and link text are written so the page makes sense read aloud or out of order.
Known limitations
The weekly schedule is posted on Facebook, which we link to but don't control; if you can't get to it, call us and we'll tell you where the trailer is. A few photos include printed signs and menus. Where the words on them matter, they're repeated in the page text or the photo description, but the photos themselves are photos.
